Hi,
First post, so apologies if this has been asked before. I am trying to replace a factory-installed head unit and I cannot work out the speaker wiring.
The Blaupunkt radio had three connectors, two iso ones moulded as one plug and a separate one.
When I plug in the new head unit it powers on and works but only the left front speaker is working. I have tried the obvious, fader, balance and they are correct.
The new head unit is expecting the speakers to be wired onto that eight pins of the second plug but only four are connected on the car wiring harness. Usually a 1.5v battery I have confirmed that the left speaker is connected but I cannot find the others. What are the three wires on the other plug used for.?
Any ideas, or help please
Cheers
James
