Hi all, I though I had quite some knowledge of the Nissn Micra K12 but having spent quite some time trying to problem solve this, I have enlisted and look forward to any help I can get.
This particular car I have only recently bought and am therefore unsure of any history. I am going through it ready for the road.
The engine starts and runs fine but having plugged my handheld diagnostic machine in (for another reason) the live data showed the temperature up to 104 without the fan cutting in.
Checked all fuses....checked and replaced relays in IPDM....
When the temperature sender is disconnected the fan works ....Default position I believe.
I have now run an IPDM Auto Active Test and the fan also operates as it should.....I therefore am of the opinion that the IPDM is not receiving the necessary message to operate the fan but the wiring/fuses/relays within the IPDM and to the fan are without fault .......
Any thoughts ????
