K12 Micra power steering c1606 c1608 codes

Hi, in December my power steering decided to up and give up out of the blue and when i read the codes i got c1606(motor or driver in control unit is malfunctioning) and c1608(control unit is malfunctioning) and im looking to fix it properly now due to not properly being covered by insurance if i haft to claim, currently i have removed a gear so its just purely manual steering it'll be easy enough to put it back in if i replace the motor im just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company and whether the part will fix my issues, if its of any relevance when i cleaded codes power steering would return but i would loose it again shortly after
