K12 C + C rear window

I have an 06 Essenza C + C.

Problem is that the rear window on passenger side no longer works. I can see that one of the pulley wires is broken.

Has anyone ever replaced the electric motor? Is it accessed through the access holes behind the door card, or is it assembled and then dropped in with glass from the top?

I would check broken wire first!
