k11c tps sensor

Hi guys my new tps sensor came this morning, and have just fitted to car, however I hear of people talking about adjusting the sensor for the car? It doesnt seem to be manually adjustable, do you have to digitally set it or something or is it just plug and play as I suspect? Obviously ill set the idle with it disconnected and reconnect when idle is good but is that it?

the 2 mount-holes on the tps are usually slotted marc, do you mean maf tho ?

Nah tps mate, seems it gors in slots in fixed pisition and thats it "set" as it were

dunno then mate, this is a typical nissan tps that you twist back and forth till you get the right voltage @idle (.5v iirc)

The itermotor one I have and the dodgy bosch one I took off this morning both have circular bolt holes that hug the bolt doesnt have those bevel slots like pic above

ahh, the coilpack ones must be pre-set then eh, might be worth getting an obd2 app that can read the various outputs

I got torque on my phone that works with my elm adapter but it reads throttle as % rather than volts lol so useful

Just fitted one on mine, or had fitted I should say, straight swap I believe....no adjusting, all done £8

thats the pre coilpack tps, via obd1 and consult tho innit

Our coilpack ones are preset and just plug and play.

Having a little issue with mine at the moment, idle is on the high side 1200 rpm until she really warms up.
Just had the tps replaced.....possible problem....?

Found out today if I blip the throttle she drops back to normal, I'll give her a dose of wd 40 on the cable and springs etc tomorrow and see if that helps ?
