k11 tickover

just recentley the tickover on my micra has been poor on startup and sometimes cutting out , its alright after a mile just wondered if i could increase it somehow, any suggestions

well you can adjust the throttle linkage using the 2 nuts on it but that means it'll probably be high when its warm. It might be something to do with the throttle body though which could need replacing.

yes use a 6mm allen key to adjust the idle. the screw is located on the back left corner of the tb as you look at it from the front of the car. un-screw to raise idle.

i had this prob also, and as the second reply said, it could be the throttle body, there are solder joint inside that you can re-solder, worked a treat on mine
