need some advice/guidance with getting a throttle body for a 2000 1.0 micra owned by mother dearest
car's losing power/stalling etc. everything i've read points to the throttle body/sensor so i need to find one for her but don't know if i'm looking at the right ones on ebay. all state for a K11 engine but different years. some say they're compatible with the engine, some don't so question is, are they all compatible or will i need to find a specific one?
her previous car as a 1997 1.0 micra which we can still use the parts from if need be and we were told that the throttle body is the same but the person who now has the car (bit of a mechanic) is adament that it's not. is he right or could it be swapped over??
lastly, will i need a gasket or any other materials when i come to replace the throttle body? don't want to get 1/2 way through the job to find i don't have everything needed.
