» CMF MemberHi All,
I've just bought an old K11 Micra - 1996 LX model.
The previous owner has provided a recent service receipt from a Nissan dealership in which they "recommend replacement of E.C.M (Electronic Control Module) Unit".
The car seems to run quite well. Can anyone tell me why this unit would need replacement, and is it a relatively easy DIY job? Or is it just a dealership con to get more money out of an old car service?
