We've tried everything under the sun, it won't budge. This latest attempt needed about 35 tries to get the key out.
I've even suggested breaking the key off in the lock and starting it with a screwdriver, but you can imagine how that went down with the other half!
If it's only the plastic collar which is coded, what is the implication for new keys? Since surely a new collar would not match the coding on the ecu? SO presumably will need to use the old collar and get the new keys coded?
