k11 front wheel bearing question

had the front right wheel bearing come loose on the micra recently. my question is, is there supposed to be a castleatted washer that sits over the nut to lock the nut to the split pin or is it just the washer/nut/split pin combo?

there are various different size and type of nut BS, depending on year.
yours may have been undertightened ?

Mine is a 95 SLX and I had the same problem.
My L/H wheel bearing went, when I started pulling it apart I discovered that the big nut in the centre was loose, and it didnt have that cap you mentioned..
I replaced the whole hub from a wreck that I had and 620racer hooked me up with 2 of those cap thingos
