Hello all, I need to remove the part of the exhaust that goes to the catalytic converter. Looking at it it seems to be held in place with two bolts with two springs. What is the chance of snapping the bolts, I would also like to replace the manifold/cat heat shields. I welcome any advice. Thank you

Get it to a competent skilful exhaust gas fitter/mechanic with oxy- acetylene torch to heat it cherry red, otherwise the bolts & nut will snap off & exhaust parts may break. Either way new bolts will be reqd.
Avoid the so called cheap free fit exhaust places as they are commission sales driven & only want to sell complete very low quality new replacement exhausts.
