K11 engine bay mystery?

Hello guys! So, i found this mystery thing-y in my engine bay and i assume its something related to the central locking system? Anyways, i couldn't find anything online or in the forum, so any help will be much appreciated!
Its a first facelift model, left handed drive k11 1.0i

Looks very much like an alarm siren. I'd bet it's a dealer installed option, and likely not many were fitted so there's no information on the internet.

that could explain why my car's key does not fit into that locker. Might be a specific key that im currently lacking of

I wouldn't worry too much about it then if everything else in the car works. If it's causing trouble best to remove the whole system and install a modern one if needed.

Also, that lock seems quite easy to pick if needed.
