K11 electronic mileage to be corrected help!!!

Hi,
To all the members I have 1997 k11 micra 1.0 and the speedo is a digital
display. I needed to adjust the mileage as I have picked this unit up from
the breakers yard. Far as I know that it is possible to correct the mileage
by a consult cable or obd lead attached and to run a software on a laptop.
Could someone shed some light as the software and lead would be usefull
in tuning the car as well. I have seen many obd lead and software on ebay.
Don`t know if it is correct for this car. THANKS!!!!

Nissan dealer.

The KM is stored in the dash cluster not the ECU in nissan consult I cars (which is what the 97 k11 is).

I'm pretty sure its also stored in the dash cluster on nissan consult II cars too.

Either way you have to talk to a nissan dealer.
