I was pushing my K11 Micra out of the garage to clean it (couldn't be bothered getting in and starting the car) and the open door collided with the garden wall! Looks like I strained the hinge a bit...
Now I have to slam the door to close it, as the lock aperture on the door fouls slightly with the striker (the U-shaped bit on the chassis).
Anyone attempted to fix stuff like this? It looks like I could get a neater closing action if I dropped the striker down a couple of mm.
On the other hand, the door closes and latches safely and central locking is OK. I don't want to compromise safety for the sake of the odd door slam.
