k11 aircon problem..

guys...

need some help here.. i have a prob recently on my k11 march.. whenever i on my aircon.. there seems to be some power surge .. meaning when i on the aircon ... the car seems to be droppin in rpm at times ... and it comes suddenly each and everytime at traffic lights.. when u are moving its fine.. onyl comes when it drops to 1000rpm.. then it;ll surger and drop to 550rpm and goes back to 1000rpm.. i had mine alternator changed and tb changed.. still can't find the fault!! help needed....

When the air con comes on the engine normal idles up a bit to counter the extra load from the air con compressor. Im not 100% on what controls the rpm when ac is on but some cars use an Idle Up Solenoid for when the ac is on and maybe thats acting up. Maybe theres others here that know better.

I agree, maybe pull the solenoid out and give it a clean....others have said it can get pretty gruddy over time.

guys thanks .. but any pic where you can tel the location of the solenoid? i really have no idea where it is?
