I'm having difficulty understanding how the cam belt tensioner pulley should be attached.
The Haynes manual talks about a locknut, but the photos show a plain nut and washer - and that's what I have on my K10. But if I tighten up this nut the pulley cannot move on its slotted track and the tensioner spring will have no effect.
I'd appreciate it if someone could explain how to refit the pulley.
