k10 micra steering wheel blocks speedo.

Basically looking for any helpful advice, as I just got a 1989 k10 1.2 gs auto and it drives fine, its just that the steering wheel blocks the speedo and so I have little idea how fast or slow I'm going, I have had other k10 models before but never had this problem, I am considering getting a sat nav for the speedo but wondered if there was anyway to alter the steering column, making it lower?

Stick a photo up of your driving position. Can you adjust your seat to see the dials better?

Could reduce the gangster lean a bit?

the seat only goes back or forward, if I lean right back I can see the speedo, but that's awkward to drive like that.

I was wondering about maybe getting a boss kit and getting either a larger or smaller steering wheel? any thought?
