nef1000 iirc did the reverse (k10 box in a k11) he said you need the r/bracket off the same g/box and he cut-n-shut the gearchange rod because the universal joint was 90deg out (but i think you can knock the securing pin out and swop the joint over)
auto to manual can be a mission tho
