I've got one up in Warrington. It's been sitting idle for about 2 years now so i don't know if that'll make any difference to it, but it was reconditioned not long before it was removed from the car

yep true i just want one that works tbh, i dont know if the gearbox will be a 'straight swap' or not? as in driveshafts and speedocable etc etc etc

i think the shaft spline and speedo drive are the same steve, and here,s the gearchange coupling (if your rollpin is horizontal like the pic, you just knock the pin out and swap the coupling over)

ok, cheers for that frank, ive had a good ring around today and noone has any in the scrappers, even a 5 speed! the micra still has to get me to work and its making really really bad noises, its not like i can even fall back on the super turbo :S
