K10's have a mechanical fuel pump that is driven off the engine, so it won't pump fuel unless the engine is cranking over. Can take some time for the fuel to reach the carb if it's not been turned on for awhile. Might be worth filling the carb up with fuel first and then letting the engine run on that. Should be enough time for the fuel to be pumped from the tank to the carb
