not long had my micra k11 1998 and just wanted to say Hi to everyone, i have got a 3 door auto which i bought for £300 and i have been driveing it for 4 months now and the only problem i can see is when i change from drive to reverse it seem's hard to do like its getting cought, but appart from that its a good car. im sure i will have some questions at some point and i hope i will get some help on this site.

Hi Mark.
We had a similar problem with an auto.
Inside the gearbox casing there is a synchro hub. The brass ring (Baulk ring) would stick and cause similar symptoms. We had to strip ours down because we intended selling it.

The ring probably sticks thru lack of use, so if you get out and stick a bit of mileage on it, it should sort its self out!
