They sound like a great place.

Hey 2, which wheel nuts did you get? I need some new ones, and wouldn't mind titanium if they are reasonable!

I got the Rays wheel nuts for $190 inc.postage. I saw in shops between $240-$270,so it's really a good deal.I dont see much titanium ones from those big name company, maybe titanium are weak at some point, temp or torque...i dunno.....

Here's the package....(sorry for the photo quality,i'm still so bad in using the camera, the colour is not right!)

zoiks! I didn't expect them to be cheap I guess.

Mate that's extremely light, nice work.

Thanks for the info. They look very nice. But I will just have to get normal ones as I'm trying to not spend much money on the car now.

When I used to race mountain bikes, I was fanatical about lightweight everything, had to have the syncros 180g titanium seatpost and the syncros 220g cattle prod stem - those items were approx $200 each, and the ultra light rims and everything was the lightest. My whole xc racing bike back in 1999 was about 9kg which was pretty awesome. But then my mates used to rip me off for having all these "purple anodized triple titanium ultra light super duper bolts that ONLY cost $999999 to save 10grams hahaha" as they used to say. hahahaha. And that was just a bike.

the new No.002 that you are building is something truly special!

Are you going to drill holes in your chassis to save weight?
I wonder what you could get a street legal March down to.. Maybe 700Kg?

my micra k11 1.3 is 700kg with 1/4 tank of petrol. i have been on a weighbridge. i have yet to fit perspex windows and carbon bonnet, deicing whether its worth the money. aslo still got heating/ventilation systym installed as micra heated front windscreen are quite expensive.

We discussed with my friends in Turkey about balancing the JUN Flywheel together with crank before fitting it.

what are your opinions about this issue? espicially the ones that buy and fit a lightweight flywheel?

They can get any parts from the big name companys,i tried to order in a 4-1 35mm diameter ex.manifold from "Aspect"(no clue????) well, they're a small march specialist workshop just like B-crews....now,i might just buy them via powerplayimports, the workshop import most of my big size parts like bodykits....

Hahah..drill holes in the chassis to save weight!! Nonono...but you guess very close, only around the doors side,.....but i'll ask the specialist first to see how they think to keep the chassis strong/er and less weight, and LEGAL,i wouldn't want to see the yellow sticker on my front windscreen again............
And......my new super lightweight rims will arrived from japan within 8-10 weeks, they're in wide offset and i ordered them in special plain black instead of the factory bronze or white. I'll keep the rest mystery until its really to roll......can't wait to drive a micra again! :)

'scuse my ignorance but what happened to the original 2?

I know alot of older Magna drivers use a lightening process called RUST on the doors - if you find the right micra mabye you too could use this technique? :p

Found some other wheel nuts not as light as Rays,

These are Daiyama Aluminium wheel nuts with anodized hardened surface they are 25 grams each and come in a 1 pack of 4 nuts. They claim to be around 62% lighter then standard wheel nuts.
They are priced at $28.16 (1x4)
