Jacking Points

I normally use the sills for jacking but with the Micra i just don't trust them! :laugh:

Whats the best thing to use under the car? Subframe OK and wishbone? They looked a bit floppy t hold the car up last time i checked?

Apparently you can get an adapter to fit on the sill, been trying to locate one myself.

u can make an adaptor plate, get a peice of hardwood and use a chisel to take a grove out, or in my case i used my chain saw, 2 min job, lol

Personally I use the main beem that runs the length of the car. It's a good strong point however if like me you've dropped ur car a fair bit then it may be tricky - for this I use to take weight off by lifting it with the std Nissan jack (on the sill point) just enough to move the trolly jack under the car.

Unless you've got a drop of more than 40mm you should be ok.
