interior light not working

hi all,

My interior light isnt working, well, it is, but not when i open the door! ive checked the pressure switch on the door piller and that seems to be doing its job and springing in and out.

any one got any ideas what the problem might be? its the same on both doors.

have you checked all the fuses? that would be first someone on here must of had the same problem at some point. Good Luck

yeh, that what i thought, but then the light actually works when i manually turn it on with the switch. so it cant be the fuse can it?

the pillar switch is an earth dave, maybe a lost connection there somewhere ?
