A K11 throttle body has a mesh filter to prevent ingress of dirt that gets past the air filter. It appears to be held on with a circlip. I know from honda xr dirt bikes that removing it can lose some throttle response, but is this the case with the K11? Perhaps removal picks up a few horsepower without any drawbacks?
