Indicator not working - relay buzzing

Hi everyone,

I'm having a weird problem with my indicator. When i turn on the indicator it is not working and I'm getting a buzzing noise from the indicator relay. I also noticed, that when I turn on the ignition key, the oil, battery and handbrake lights are not getting on. After I changed the indicator relay, the oil, battery and handbrake lights are coming again with the ignition but the indicators still don't work and the buzzing noise form the indicator relay is even louder.

If anybody has an idea regarding this problem, your suggestions are welcome.

Have you checked the fuses?

Yes I have checked the fuses. They are perfectly OK. Maybe it is a shortcut or a loose connection somewhere.

Has anyone had this problem before?

this sounds like the same fundamental problem as what a lot of us have had on the headlights circuit....but you have it on the indicators:
