nah, you worry too much lol, the engine ran ok with the 3mm headskim (and a 260 cam), but it made the lower chain too slack (spark/cas signal jitter at idle etc) i ended up running with 2 head gaskets and the lowest mile chain i had (the blue car,s engine).
but 1.0 pistons are a neater solution tbh, and a cga crank so that you can run 2 gaskets and have a nice tight chain
You must have a very specific cam choice in mind I assume. Compression that high can lead to more problems than benefits and could actually make less power than with something safer like 12:1.
keep the money in your pocket paul... you're better off keeping it stock, work on light weight and finishing your exhaust...hows the panhard comming? btw have a jdm k11 head if you want to start a project.
