Hi All,
I have just done a 39000 mile service to my K11, it should have been 36000 but I didn't trust the seller when he said a service had been done before he sold me this car. I have had to replace 4 tyres via national tyres due to the ones fitted had a 2002 date on them and lumps missing from side walls. Then I bought proper spark plugs as the ones fitted were incorrect as they should be used for a Ford and were not one's designed for Micra K11's and when I changed the oil filter today, I found that is was incorrect also as it wasn't sealing properly and I've been filling up more often also the oil appeared to be thinner most likely to have been 5w30 and have replaced it with 15w40, which is better anyway especially as the engine is now quieter. And now I will be under the car again tomorrow to find the rattle in th exhaust heat shield & i’ll fix that with a Jubilee clip of some sort.
