my immobiliser has died! i am buying a second hand one but the question i have is i have a 95 1.3 lx and i wondered if anyone knew if immobilisers from later cars would fit this one and work, say up to 97 for example.
also, my story might give hope to people with a similar problem. the immoblisier packed up and Nissan said that as it was multipiont and it affected the ECU, the car was effectively scrap. NOT SO! i can get a second hand unit hence bypassing Nissans exorbiant rates, fit it to the car and it will work. message is - dont give up hope!
