Immobiliser issues

Hey all, Figured this would be a good place to start.

Got a '93 micra on an L plate and the iommobiliser has gone dodgy. basically i need to know if its a nissan fitted immob or an after market immob. does anyone have any pictures?

mine is a light behind the steering wheel on the plastic covering the steering column, and a fob that you plug into a hole next to the ignition. is this standard?

any help would be immencely appreciated as im missing work because of this :S

it sounds like an aftermarket one to me echoz, i would get it removed personally
