Ignition...

Hi all. My 06 Micra sport has developed an ignigion problem. They key turns easily to all positions, but it doesn't fire up at the last position. It sometimes starts, but has been getting worse. I'd really appreciate any advice. Cheers. Tony

First thing to point out is your k12 petrol or diesel? secondly put the main headlight on and try to start the engine, if the lights dim then its battery, if they stay bright then it's either the starter solenoid or secondly starter relay followed by ignition switch contacts inside the starter barrel, try these quick quides first before delving deeper?
