Idle too high when cold

Hi guys,

My car seems to idle too high when it is cold. (1750rpm). Once it has warmed up, it drops to just under 1,000rpm. (prob still too high)

I found this, but unsure what is warm / cold adjustment etc.

I believe one of the allen key adjustment screws is just a return stopper, and the other is idle (Not sure on warm or cold, or which way to turn it). I dont want to mess around with any of the screws incase there is a air/fuel adjustment or anything.

Also, I was thinking of doing the cold start wax thingo removal from the TB, how do i go about re-adjusting the warm and cold idle then?

the adjusting screw on quadrant (15) is held open by the cam (14) eh doom
or i think you can adjust the plunger on the waxstat (6 and 8)

yeah doom like frank said... clock-wise drop and anti to raise rev. also be good idea to check your tps and idle.

And when u check the valve kit (5), make sure the O ring gasket is in good condition, they can become brittle overtime
