Idle low?

Hi guys,

I would love some help/advice about my micra, the idle seems to be really low sitting at around 640 to 680 rpm according to the diagnostic equipment I am using. The absolute throttle position wavers between 7.5 and 7.8%.

The car idles up to between 720 and 760 rpm when the headlights are switched on. My question for anyone viewing this is this normal? If its not then what should the idle be and what should the absolute throttle position be. The car is a K11 1.0l Tempest 2002 plate.

Sounds about right to me mate - pretty much the same as mine.

Thanks for the reply davyboy. I'm glad to hear it sounds about right. This is my first Micra and I thought the idle was low as I was used to my last car having an idle of around 750 rpm.
