I don't see why you would be able to get some pictures of it and make it yourself or get a bodykit shop to make one up.
Unfortunately it won't be exactly the same - to avoid getting kicked up the behind by copyright laws I believe you must change the design by 15% or something here in Australia.
I reckon getting someone to make it would be very expensive hehe
Ahh, the the original maker has to prove that they are the absolutly only new design, if you show up with a 1960 vintage race car that has similar design, then they are also coping...
As long as you're not going to start selling them, then its kind of ok.
Its just that the kit wasnt designed by some random taiwanese dude. Its an Autech design, and Autech isnt exactly part of a small company.... So you do have to be careful IMO.
Vertex Copies... BN Sports copies... Virtually every bodykit in Australia is molded from an original and mass produced and sold in Australia... WITHOUT approval from the original manufacturers.
So no.. You wouldn't have to worry, they wouldn't even know or care enough if they're not actually trying to sell them..
