Recently, the Engine Warning (Malfunction Indicator) Light started switching intermittently on my Nissan Micra and the car lost its power. Plus there was a lot of smell in the exhaust. I was in a garage for a paid computer testing and was told that ignition coil broke down. I replaced it myself. Now the Engine Warning light is solid. How can I switch off the light? Do I need to reset Micra's computer settings? If so, should I buy software from internet and use it (I saw it for about £20 on ebay from China including cables and sockets for Micra) or there much easier solution? Thanks.
