Hi all, This is a recurrent question in the forum but I need to swap my rear springs and so need to raise the back end. I intend to jack under the rear subframe with a wood block and use stands with adapters on the rear sil jacking points but how exactly do I jack under the rear? The cross axle consists if an inverted U of metal with a bar like structure inside crossing the car. Im assuming this a torsion bar and so intended to flex? So is the intention to use the wood to bridge between the bases if the inverted U or to fit inside the U and contact the transverse bar directly.
Also once raised there are some beefy looking rail like extns towards the rear under the boot... Could they be used to jack or support?
Cheers all
Mike
