how do you remove rear springs?

what do you need to undo to remove the rear springs :blues:

I jacked up, took of rear wheel, unbolted the shock at the bottom, the used spring compressors

just the shock, and then stand on the drum

Tie some rope to them, tie the other end to the lamppost then drive off :laugh:

Seriously though rears are easy.... With the car on the ground undo the top bolts for the struts, jack the car but not by the axle

Everything should have lowered so you can pull the springs out

i had the passenger side shock off today, and i jacked it up on a torsion mount i think, not by the axel any way, and there was still compression with in the spring, unless i have to undo both sides at the same time

You have to do both sides otherwise the axle is being held in place by one shock
