Ive bin on this forum for a while now and always check the blogs. Ive always wondered how people have balanced there fly wheels after drilling and maching down?

Yes i did see this i remember. I was thinking i saw it on retrorides. Did you do this just with a pillar drill? Am i right in saying because the wheel keeps spinning and not just dropping dead that the weight is equal?

it was stopping at the same spot in the vid jamie (out of balance) you have to drill the heavy side till it stops in random places eh

Ive always thought that if they flywheel was loose or unbalanced you could feel vibration through the gearstick

thats why i balanced it first innit

Right sorry i understand now i misread a respose above. Drilling till it stops in random places would mean its balanced. That explains why you got no vibrations.
