Hi all, I'm new to the forum.
I have a L reg micra 1ltr, its a little peach of a run-a-round
The economy is sweeeeeet
I had a little problem with the car on its maiden voyage, I drove it to London from Macclesfield. Whilst stuck in city traffic the car decieded to have a little camp fire in the engine bay (yes I poo'd my self)
The fuse box infront of the battery is melted. The car works fine still tho ????
I think the thermostat had died and when the car overheated it got a little hot in there.
From what I can see the fuse box is hard wired into the wiring loom, is this right?
When I got back form london I lost the key, the only key! (Its been a really lucky car so far) , anyway I bought some locks of ebay, but the ignition barrel is the wrong fitment. does anyone have any spare ignition barrels with key for sale? (I'll check the for sale section too)
