just bought my daughter a Micra, could do with a little help

car is a 94 L plate 1.3LX. what model is that K?

I have a pioneer CD player to fit, does it need different plug harness? if so where from.

does the car have a timing belt or chain, ( will change asap if belt)

car has only done 17,000 miles, no rust, but anything I should keep an eye on?

Welcome to the forums.... Thats a very good mileage for the year!

Its a k11, the bubble shape, which has a timing chain. The headunit will normally come with everythign you need, if not, halfords is your place or a similar car audio company.

Keep an eye out for rust on the sills and the front cross member (behind the front bumper) these are the most common spots, and also just make sure she is well oiled and looked after.

welcome to the clubfirst of all and you will need ' nissan micra wiring loom' get them from halfords or motorworld about £15, im not to sure about the timing belt, sound like a nice car.

Thats some seriously low mileage!
To use the stereo you're most likely gonna need the micra to ISO connector which is avaialble from most places like halfords.

as said, very good mileage and you'll need the connecter for the head unit.
sills and cross member are the common faults.
