help with carb

hey first post on here lol. i'm havin a bit of trouble with my carb i'm a mechanic, a nissan 1 at that but i've never worked on a k10 before. theres a vaccuum pipe on the left hand side below a diaphram thingy and i haven't a clue where it goes if some1 could take a pic of the side of there carb or can explain to me where it goes i'd be gratefull

I'm not sure without a picture but if it is a small bore pipe it might be for the idle control in the air box.

yeah that sound like it but were does the pipe go 2???

On one end ther is a Y pipe connector that goes in to the main vacuum on the other there should be a wider rubber connector that goes to the bi metalic strip inside the air pan

mmmm ok i think who ever had the car last has messed it up lol
