Help - Where to get a front brake hose Banjo Bolt?

Just when you thought you'd loosened and sorted everything! Argh .... Brake carrier bottom pin seized something cruel. Been like it ages it seems.

So asked No.1 son take it apart replace caliper, pins, hose and discs. Easy right? Nooooooo

The pin seized in carrier and can I find carriers anywhere? Also Nooooo

Then the hose is stuck to the caliper .... cannot get the Banjo Bolt undone. Going to have to be a cut. But anyone know where I can buy a Nissan K11 95 1.0 Banjo Bolt? Can't see one anywhere?

Would be hugely grateful if anyone could steer me towards a couple of ideally new ones but any at this rate be good :)

Cheers guys

Well I could not find any Nissan or OEM parts for this but at trike micra said above .... get the dimensions and then might be able to source one.

I purchased a £7.00 thread gauge off Amazon last night (I know ... boo hiss) but it arrived at 10.15 this morning and I was able check the thread.

It was an M10 (easy enough to guess) and a 1.0 60 deg thread with a 24mm shaft length.

This supplier on ebay was helpful and had a stainless steel exact fit ... and a lot of other fits. Here a link to the item I bought and just over £4 a piece shipped. Not bad at all. Arrives tomorrow. Will let you know how we get on but I reckon it's looking good. Hope useful to others some time in the future.

And indeed they fitted a treat!

Got the best new metal gleaming 94 K11 front brake system out there! Literally every component past the Master Cylinder is new and all for almost spot on £100! Clips, pipes, hoses, discs, pads, bolts ... the lot. Oh and it was time order a new can of copper grease .... bad luck on my part, probably 15 years since the last one. Another £8.00 into the mix.

Given that worked out a lot more bits than I thought but a lot less money, I've ordered a clear can of Dintrol Corroheat to spray over the installation .... keep the rust and road muck out and give fresh metal a chance to shine a while longer than it might. Probably £14 questionably spent but..... :)

And although I thought the car stopped well it seems I'm the only one who thought that! And indeed it has been loosing brake fluid recent months. Not so much but enough make the brake warning light gleam up so seems it was time shed the original 94 Nissan parts. ....26 year old metal calling time. is not bad is it?

If you know the thread length and pitch your local motorcycle workshop will be the best bet. An old scoo one, not a main dealer.

This prompted me invest in a cheap thread gauge trike micra. And I'll tell you what, money well spent. How the hell I've done without one this long I di not know.

Actually I lied a bit ... missed the disc & pad set .... was nearer £130 for total rebuild ... still pretty good.
