Help! - problem with my Micra!

Hi everyone,

I need some advice about my R reg Automatic 1,0 micra. I only got it on Sunday. It was fine on the test drive. I have been driving it everyday since I got it, only 4-5 miles a day. I have now noticed that when I slow down and brake or when I am sitting in traffic. The car is making a funny noise and shakes a bit like the noise a car manual car makes just before it's about to stall. If you know what I mean! I'm really worried about it as it's my first car and my knowledge of cars is very limited!

yeah i'd go with franks suggestion start it up and let it warm up a little bit and see what the rev counter says 1000rpm etc. then the answer should be obvious for these guys (Y) Good Luck!

If it's not idle speed I think a worn clutch can cause that.
