Help please - running out of ideas to fix issue

HI All

Mate's daughter has a 1 litre P reg micra, seems to be same as my M reg 1 litre engine/parts etc.

Its chugging, holding back quite badley when you put it under load.

We have tried the following to sort but with no luck:

tried the dizzy unit from mine
tried driving with & without lambda plugged in & no change
hers has had a new:
dizzy cap & rotor arm
new plugs
new leads
oil & filter
air filter
fuel filter
we have tried carb cleaner through the throttle body to clean out etc
and still doing the chugging/holding back etc.

Only parts left i can think of are:
the circuitry under the plate on the throttle body could do with a solder up?
fuel pump playing up (but issue is only when wanting to accelerate)
or idle control valve could this cause the hesitation?

any help asap please as his daughter really needs the car for work.

hi frank, that was my thought mate, looks like a tb swap at weekend. thanks for the reply appreciate your time.

** if it is the tb, can someone point us best place to get a new cheap one or a good reliable second hand dealer?
also i see on ebay some tb's fits 93-2000 & yet others say 97-2000?
I thought they were all the same for 1 & 1.3 93-2000 or are there different ones?

facelift ones post 1997 are different with a replacable bosch MAF whereas the preface ones don't

sorry to re highlight, but for people who know their stuff are these the symptoms of dry solder thing?

yes chris, an increase in fuel comsumption, irractic idle, stalling at junctions etc, put ya foot down nout happens, its quite an easy fix if you have the soldering iron

Well what a day!
Changed throttle body from mine and still holding back
Went scrappy for 2 lambda sensors, neither worked helped, still same.
Lets get a fuel pump, fitted, drove, problem solved!
Fuel pump turned out to be weak/knackered and could not keep up with a constant load when the engine demanded it.
