help on running problem.

ok here we go my 1999 1.3 s with 94000 miles runs bad at times and cuts out from time to time. she seems to kangeroo along on over run ive done the tb twice from the breakers still the same. both tbs came off runners. i have also done the temp sensor for the ecu plus the lambda sensor also it had a new dizzy fitted when i bought the car, i have done the code by shorting the connector all i get is 55 everything ok. i have just replaced the fuel filter. please help me.

check the ecu plug and al1 other plugs have good contact......even spray them with contact spray (from an electronics shop) see if that helps

i will try the ecu plug, have checked all the engine electrical plugs .thanks for info.

i have cleaned the ecu connections but still the same, could it be the ecu itself can i get one from the breakers then get nissan to do whatever.

i think an ecu will work ok if you get the chipped key to suit (then extract the chip and fit it into your key, or tape it to the reciever ring around the barrel)
or else a pre-nats ecu (but i think you have to swop some wires around on the ecu plug)
i think nissan charge £100+ to program another ecu to your key btw
