Depending on the mileage of your car, it could be as simple as changing the automatic fluid, if this has not been done in a while, warm the car up fully without moving the car and then check the if the car moves in the direction you want. If this problem still persists, then I would recommend calling a local garage to pick up the car and have the gearbox/ cables and switches checked over.
