Hello from a proud new K11 owner ?

Hello. I just wanted to say hello... I have just joined the forum as I have just become the proud owner of my very first Micra.

Always wanted one... just love them when they're done properly.
(By the way I've owned a Scooby..an Evo..Mk1 Granada... XR3i... Capri...the lot.. so I'm not mental or anything lol)
Anyway... I haven't even picked it up yet but wanted to get a head start on advice for lowering it without spending a fortune... the little boot spoiler... and some general tips and advice please...

So... that didn't work out.
Going to have to remove that picture of "my very first Micra" lol... didn't go through with it in the end.. the bloke was a prick... full of ****.
So... on the look out for a 1.3 micra lol.

Also... Is it worth holding out for a 1.3 over the 1.0 ?
I understand that screaming the smaller engine will use more fuel.. and I'm sure more can be done with the 1.3... but is it worth missing out on a nice 1.0 for it ?

OK...thank you.
I did notice I wasn't seeing many 1.3's.
What about performance upgrades etc.. will a 1.0 limit me on what I can do... more than it already will ?

the 1.3 has more grunt, but they both run out of steam at 6k tho
so tuning mods to get the 1.0 to pull strongly at the limiter make a big difference

yes but same porting/piston/valve size, but 1.3 is longer stroke
so the 1.0 responds better to rpm
