heating

hi folks, im looking for a little help, the heating in my car is crap, to put it plainly, i got a 1998 k11 1.3si and the heating just doesn't blow hard enough (pardon the expression lol)

i bought the car a month ago and its always been like this, i've changed the blower motor and the resistor, but still not going properly

when its set at 1 theres nothing coming through, and gets a little stronger as it goes up to number 4, the actual temprature is fine, i can control that, but its just the air coming through just isn't strong enough compared to my old 1997 k11

any ideas ppl???

i would have said that maybe the resistor may have blown?! i changed my resister recently and it has worked a treat..

maybe just change it again and see how ya get on with that :S

well im going to a scrappie either tomorrow or thursday for the switches so i'll pick up another one then

not something stuck in the air pipes??? air inlet?? does the motor sound like its changing speed when u move it up a notch?

the engine? or the blower motor?

Have you checked the bearing on the fan?

mine done the same
it turned out to be the fillter just removed it and they worked fine

you have to take the dash out to get to it
