Heater Motor not working

Hi, My K11 Heater has stopped working.
The fuse is ok... actually once it even came back to life briefly.
It doesn't work on any setting now, and before it stopped there was a noise coming from the motor itself (i think).

Any suggestions,

No, it doesn't work on any speed at all.
But, once for a moment or so, it did work, but then stopped again.

That isn't the fault if it's not working on speed 4 either.

The heater in my k12 makes a noise when its on but if i turn it up to speed 4 then down to 1 or 2 it stops, anybody know how to fix this?

Same probem used to only work on speed 4, but now doesn't work at all Been told it will be expensive to repair?
