Heater just coming out cold all the time

Ive just borough myself a 83 k10 and the heater is just on cold all the time,
i haven't really looked into to it but is there anything common or what the best things to start looking at etc,
as its a tad annoys especially as its winter now.

They work best on the foot setting.. so put it on there to start with
Next I'd bleed the radiator whilst pumping the matrix pipes by hand. Its free to do and might solve the problem

i checked all the cables still operate the airbox

ha ha like my nova then lol,

right both pipes coming in and out heater rad are both hot so there no airlock in there so where to got next,

the car been stood for about a year and bloke i borought it off said it was working when he was using it

They're pretty darn good
Could still potentially be an air lock ... if its been stood it may have been coated in a layer of dried out antifreeze water... preventing heat transfer


But before we go down expensive route... check that the big flap near the matrix opens
The will operate a lever in the lower right hand side of the heater unit

all the cables all operate the flaps on the airbox fine as that what i 1st fort maybe one of the cables had fallen off

Nothing is ever a big job on a K10.
You looking at 6 bolts and 4 nuts and that's the dash and heater box off

well i just took me mum to the shop init and its now working so i reckon i had a blockage or something and now ive got it circulating

its like brand new underneath and just got a couple of scabs on bodywork where its been sat

Rare Datsun/Nissan Micra. Are pretty damn rare nowadays! Love the P slots but ditch them and get some banded steels . Also saw this on retro stance.
